Well its still January. So this isn't horribly late...right?

Haha. Well whatever. Wanted to get that last journal off of my page. 2008 was quite the year! A big year of change for me, thats for sure. And 2009 is starting out busy, but great.

Im really starting to find myself. I've never taken much stock in Astrology, but my roommate is totally into it, and I must admit its somewhat captivating me. My sun sign is Aquarius but I have a Pisces moon and a Pisces rising sign. I must admit everything I read about it is surprisingly accurate. We'll see, i suppose. (:

I don't play World of Warcraft anymore. Truth be told, i've been bored with it for a long time. I've never really been able to get into a long game like that. One without story anyways. Give me a good Legend of Zelda or Jak and Daxter game and I'm hooked. (:

Back when I went to ASU I did a text based role play with a friend of mine. It was one of the most fun things i've ever done, and I recently started it up again with some of my friends. Its amazing, and I love it. Its nice to find people who enjoy the same things as you do.

I'm the president of the SIGGRAPH club this quarter, still working at the school, still a resident assistant- and I just tried to add the title of 'tutor' to my load, but the school wouldn't let me since I already work for them in the accounting and registrar office. So i decided i'm just going to keep telling people that i'm a tutor. lol. I don't care about getting paid for it, i just want to help people out. Looks great on a resume too. They are going to let me teach my own workshop though- which is such an awesome opportunity.

Theres so many deadlines i'm waiting for. August, in particular. Dont want to talk about it too much, but I applied for a position a few weeks ago (had to write 5 essays, get a few references from professors here, get copies of transcripts from the registrar...ect)and i'll find out whats up sometime in August. I try not to think about it, because every time I do i feel sick. lol. I hate that feeling where you want something so bad and you just really have no idea how it will turn out, ya know?

But all i can do is wait (:

My boyfriend and I broke up a few weeks ago. That was a big change. But, I think we will both be better off. Sometimes people just make better friends then significant others, don't you find? I've been changing so much as a person lately, it's been unreal. I'm definitely not the same person that walked into the school a year and a half ago- and I think thats a good thing.

My 21st birthday is coming up! February 8th. Im really excited because my mom is flying down here from Indiana. It's going to be the best ever!! Im getting a tatoo on my birthday too, which is amazing and liberating and scary at the same time. lol. I have to make sure I will be able to hide it so that I will be able to get a professional job when i'm all growed up.

I have a belief systems and spirituality class this quarter, and its really making me understand exactly what I believe in. When i first walked in the class we were asked a bunch of questions about our beliefs and my answers were frequently, 'I don't know' now I totally am starting to solidify it and its amazing. (:

In other news i'm just living life. You only live once and i'm tired of playing it safe, ya know? I want to experience everything I can- the good and the bad. I'm on this earth to live- not living to be on this earth.
